PHOENIX — A senior living community in northeast Phoenix opened this week, featuring 181 units and various amenities.

LivGenerations Mayo Blvd is located on Mayo Boulevard and 64th Street just off the Loop 101. It has 155 homes and 26 casitas with 20 floor plans of independent and assisted living, as well as memory care, according to a press release.

“Phoenix is the fastest-growing city in the United States and it’s one of the fastest growing for senior communities in the U.S. as well,” Mayor Kate Gallego, who was at the ribbon-cutting ceremony, said in the release.

“This community represents a nice place for the needs of its senior residents. The Mayo Corridor boasts some the best health care providers in the country.”

All of the units for the community have been leased out in the past few months, the Michigan-based company said.

Amenities of the facility include large kitchens with high-end appliances and granite counters, walk-in closets available, washer and dryer for select units, as well as balconies and patios.

Numerous dining options are also available, in addition to a 24-hour emergency call system, a dog park, fitness center, swimming pool, a bar, a tea room and classes to take.

Construction began on the development began in October 2019.

LivGenerations also has locations in Gilbert, Scottsdale and Ahwatukee.
