Kerrville (Kerr County) — A Columbia, Missouri developer recently received the backing of the City Council on their plan to apply for tax credit financing for a 36-unit senior development.
Brian Kimes with JES Dev Co, Inc. advised the city of their intent to apply for a 9% housing tax credit award from the Texas Department of Housing and Community Affairs in their 2022 funding cycle.
The council approved the resolution on Feb. 8 in favor of the project that will be located 1600 Junction Highway.
The 2.17-acre property is undeveloped and in the northwest portion of the city.
The name of the development is Riverview Manor, which will be a senior project dedicated to individuals 55 years and older. Riverview Manor, L.P. is the special purpose entity created by JES Dev Co, Inc. for this project.
Fairway Construction Co., Inc. (FWC), the in-house general contractor for JES Holdings, is on board the project.
The unit mix will consist of 11 one-bedroom projects at 750 square feet and 25 two-bedroom projects at 880 square feet.
The unit features include a full kitchen with energy star appliances, vinyl flooring, carpet, a washer and a dryer.
