Smartphone Photography. Tuesdays and Thursdays, July 13 – August 12, 12:45 – 2:00 p.m.

Explore the basics of using a smartphone digital camera. Learn how to take, store, and delete pictures, take selfies, record videos, and share photos. Phone requirements to participate: iPhone with iOS 10 or later, or Android with OS 6 or later.

Aging in Place. Tuesday, July 13, 2:00 – 3:00 p.m.

Join Older Adult Client Services Coordinators for a conversation on what to consider when choosing to age in place: available services, home modification options, and other factors to consider.

T’ai Chi Level I – Beginning. Thursdays, July 15 – August 19, 9:00 – 10:00 a.m.

Learn and review the basics, including breath, mental focus, postural awareness, and correct mechanics of each move.  Instructor: Steve Arney. Fees R/NR: $42/$53

T’ai Chi Level II/III Intermediate/Advanced. Thursdays, July 15 – August 19, 10:15 – 11:15 a.m.

BIFF Film and Discussion. Thursday, July 15, 3:00 – 4:15 p.m.

Join this program online to view “Satan & Adam,” 2018, 79 min., followed by a discussion led by a member of the BIFF film selection committee.

Sugar Blues. Wednesday, July 21, 2:00 – 3:30 p.m.

Lisa Shanken, certified health coach, will review the addictive qualities of sugar and provide tips to kick the sugar habit once and for all. Presenter: Evan Ingerson.

The Air We Breathe: On Front Range Air Quality. Friday, July 23, 10:00 – 11:00 a.m.

Join NCAR scientists Frank Flocke and Gabi Pfister to review what is in the air we breathe, how far it travels, what is known about the origin of Front Range pollution, and the technology used to measure local air pollution.

Understanding and Overcoming Hip Arthritis. Thursday, July 29, 10:00 – 11:30 a.m.

This program will focus on causes, myths, and treatment options of arthritis as well as exercises at home to support hip pain caused by arthritis.
