Courtney Nichole talks Tyler Perry’s ‘Assisted Living’, Her Chicago Roots, Education, & More! – – Black Movies, Television, and Theatre News – Blackfilm correspondent Koku Tona sat down with Courtney Nichole, star of Tyler Perry’s ‘Assisted Living‘ to talk her role in the hit series, Chicago roots, education, and more. Courtney Nichole plays Leah–supportive wife of Jeremy (Na’im Lynn), the patriarch of a young family who decides to move to the backwoods of Georgia to help his grandfather manage a run-down assisted living facility for the elderly. Lots of comedic shenanigans ensue, with the second season airing every Tuesday at its new time 9:30 PM ET/PT.
