Diane Zimmerman, age 93, passed away surrounded by family. Diane was born in Portland, Ore. to Harley and Pauline Hall.

Diane graduated Grant HS and attended University of Oregon. She started working for IBM as a secretary and retired as a computer programmer in 1987. After living in San Jose, CA for 20 years, Diane moved to her beloved Cannon Beach in 2000, where she spent many years volunteering with the Cannon Beach Library, the Haystack Rock Awareness Program and the Cannon Beach Food Pantry, playing bridge with her spirited bridge crew, enjoying meals at her favorite restaurants, hosting her family and friends, and planning her next travel adventure. Diane made the difficult decision to move to senior housing in Portland in 2020, but her heart remained in Cannon Beach.

She is survived by her two daughters and their spouses, Ann and Bill Krieger, and Susan and Russell Panter; sister, Marilyn Godfrey; grandchildren, Jon, Kirstin, Jeffrey, Sam and Bhupesh; honorary grandchildren, Josh, Ashley and Kelly; great-grandchildren, Liam and Charlie; and nephews and their spouses, Ted, Kari, Daniel and Berniece.

Suggested donations: Cannon Beach Volunteer Fire Association or the Haystack Rock Awareness Program. A private family burial is scheduled.
