The High Plains and Clearview library districts have been hard at working planning programs and activities for adults, teens and children of all ages. Check out these free upcoming events and activities for all members of the family.

Clearview Library District

Storytime with ASL with Miss Christy is scheduled for 10 a.m. Sunday, June 13 online. The event is open to children ages 6 and under and includes stories and a lesson on different words using American Sign Language. For more information, go to https://bit.ly/3iqHL6H.

The bookmobile is scheduled for a stop 3 p.m. Monday, June 14 at Founders Green Park, 1201 Grand Ave., Windsor. Come check out the different materials the bookmobile has to offer.

The Teen Cooking Challenge: Watermelon Syrup and Ice Cream will take place at 4:30 p.m. June 14 at the Windsor History Museum at 100 N. 5th St. The event is open to teens ages 12-18. Gather the little ones and head over to the Severance Town Hall for Stories in Severance at 10 a.m. Tuesday, June 15 at 3 Timber Ridge Parkway. The event is geared toward children ages 2-6 and their parents or guardians. The interactive event will feature bubbles, stories, songs and a take-and-make craft. Business owners or people interested in starting a business will benefit from the Strictly Business: Reviews Matter program at 3 p.m. June 16 online. The program will teach viewers about the importance of reviews and how to boost their online reputation. The program is open to adults ages 18 and older. Registration is required. Adults and children of all ages are invited to the Rec and Tech event at 3 p.m. Friday, June 18 at Overlook Park, 10007 County Road 72, Windsor. Ask a Vet Tech is scheduled to take place 4 p.m. June 18 online. Children ages 6-9 are invited to tune in and ask questions about how to best take care of their pet, learn what vet techs do and make a pet craft. Registration is required. For more information, go to https://bit.ly/3z0L2zD.

High Plains Library District

Writers looking to mingle with other writers and share their work are invited to attend the Writer’s Group at 7 p.m. Sunday, June 13 online. The group is open to adults ages 18 and older of all skill levels and genres. Everyone is welcome to attend and share their work and provide feedback to other members. The YES!sparks take-n-make Binary Beads kits will be available for pick up Monday, June 14 at the Farr Regional Library, 1939 61st St., Greeley. The kits are geared toward kids ages 8-12 and will include all the supplies needed to learn how to write binary numbers and make beaded projects. Do you have a legal question but don’t know where to turn for help? Then check out the Free Virtual Legal Self-Help Clinic at 3:30 p.m. June 14 over the phone. Volunteer attorneys will be available to answer participants’ questions, help fill out forms and explain various procedures in regard to certain legal issues. Appointments are 15 minutes each. The Make Your Own Website program is set for 10 a.m. Tuesday, June 15 online. The program will take viewers step by step through the process of creating their own website using Weebly. The program is great for businesses owners, people looking to start a blog site or nonprofits wanting to expand their reach into the community. Registration is required. Poetry lovers of all ages are invited to attend the Eaton Library Virtual Poetry Playdate at 3:30 p.m. June 15 online. Library staff will present a brief introduction to a specific form of poetry and share a few examples. Viewers can then share some of their work with the group.
