Extension offers 6-part online retirement planning series – Salina Post

The Central Kansas extension district is offering a six-part online series of retirement planning seminars beginning Sept. 1.

Participants will learn how to determine financial needs in retirement, how to save for this goal, steps to take when it is time to retire, planning for health care expenses, and more.

The series will feature an online format for materials and discussion, and a live portion via Zoom every other Wednesday beginning Sept. 1 and ending Nov. 10. The live workshops will begin at 6:30 p.m. and last 60-90 minutes, including time for questions.

Participants can register at https://bit.ly/CKDRetire2021. Cost is $25 for the series, payable by cash, credit card, or check made payable to Central Kansas Extension District. Registration deadline is Aug. 20.
