BAD AXE – Meadow Lane Assisted Living & Memory Care, located in Bad Axe, was recently named A Place for Mom’s 2022 Best of Senior Living Award recipient.
Only the top 2-3% of senior living and home care providers across the United States and Canada earn the coveted honor, based on reviews from both seniors and their families.
A Place for Mom is the premier ratings and reviews site for senior care providers in North America, featuring over 14,000 senior living communities and trusted by over 300,000 families every year.
The Best of Senior Living Award annually recognizes the best of the best out of those 14,000 communities. It’s only given to senior living providers that have received an average rating of 4.5/5 and above, from the people whose opinions matter most – seniors and their families.
Meadow Lane secured a 5-star rating.
Meadow Lane is a Leisure Living community, located at 150 Meadow Lane, in Bad Axe. The community offers assisted living and memory care options, with the purpose of providing high-quality senior lifestyle services that promote the value and dignity of every person.
According to A Place for Mom, the areas that separate winning communities from the rest include personal connections between staff and residents, tasty and nutritious food, and activities and care that improve mental and physical wellbeing.
“All of which touch on the pillars Meadow Lane strives to give our residents every day: Safety, belonging, something to look forward to, and peace of mind,” Leisure Living said in a release.
Despite this year’s criteria being more stringent than ever, Meadow Lane was one of 71 senior communities from its parent company to receive the award – more than any other operator in North America.
Other Thumb area senior living communities that received A Place for Mom’s 2022 Best of Senior Living Award were: Stonegate Village Assisted Living & Memory Care, in Sandusky; and Heritage Hill Assisted Living & Memory Care, in Caro.
