Tesla driver crashes into NYC senior home, killing passenger – New York Daily News

A speeding Tesla driver crashed into the side of a Brooklyn senior living facility and killed a passenger in the backseat, police said.

The 22-year-old motorist jumped a curb and plowed through a fence into the side of Sunrise at Mill Basin on Strickland Ave. just before midnight, cops said.

An 18-year-old man in the backseat was rushed to Brookdale Hospital but couldn’t be saved.

The driver and three other passengers were treated at Kings County Hospital for non-life threatening injuries.

The motorist was not immediately charged, but a police sources said charges could be coming later Friday.

No one inside the assisted living home was hurt, said police.
