• The Ohio Department of Health offered its weekly update of new cases in area schools Thursday.
In Allen County, Bath had 13 new student cases and one new staff case. Lima had seven new student cases and six new staff cases. Elida had seven new student cases. Apollo Career Center and Shawnee each had six new student cases. Perry had five new student cases. Bluffton had three new student cases. St. Charles, Delphos St. John’s and West Central Learning Academy II each had one new student case. Delphos had one new staff case.
In Auglaize County, Wapakoneta had 12 new student cases and three new staff cases. St. Marys had four new student cases and one new staff case. New Bremen had one new student case.
In Putnam County, Ottawa-Glandorf had five new student cases and one new staff case. Leipsic and Miller City-New Cleveland each had three new student cases. Columbus Grove and Kalida each had two new staff cases and one new student case. Jennings, Pandora-Gilboa and SS. Peter and Paul each had one new student case.
• The ODH updated the number of cases in area long-term care facilities.
In Allen County, Shawnee Manor had five new resident cases and one new staff case. Roselawn Manor had two new staff cases. Liberty Retirement Community of Lima had one new staff case.
In Auglaize County, Wapakoneta Manor had 10 new resident cases and seven new staff cases. Otterbein St. Marys Retirement Community had eight new staff cases. Elmwood Assisted Living of New Bremen had three new staff cases. Cridersville Nursing Home, Grand Lake Healthcare Center and Otterbein-Cridersville each had two new staff cases. Otterbein-St. Marys Retirement Community had one new resident and one new staff case. Heritage Center for Rehab and Specialty Care had one new resident case. Auglaize Acres and Vancrest of St. Marys each had one new staff case.
In Putnam County, Meadows of Ottawa nursing home had three new resident cases and three new staff cases. Meadows of Leipsic each had two new resident cases and one new staff case.
Meadows of Kalida had one new staff case.
